Unfortunately Eila's blood counts were still dropping so she needed another transfusion today. Hopefully her numbers will be better tomorrow and that will be her last transfusion for a very long time. The drainage from the penrose near her kidney appears to be about the same to us, but maybe we'll find out that it is actually decreasing in volume. Now that the bag is working better again, we should be able to track that better too.
Eila was very happy that it was dog day again on the floor and she got to meet Romeo. He was good at shaking hands and eating treats.

Otherwise, it was a pretty average day at the hospital (movies, painting, stories, stickers, walks, etc) for us.

The overall message from the doctors is that she's making good progress. If her blood counts are good tomorrow, we think it's just her drainage that's an issue. And the more they talk to us about that, the more it sounds like there's flexibility in it. Not sure what that means yet, maybe we'll learn more tomorrow.

I am glad to hear that you had a better night and day. I keep my fingers crossed that it keeps going in that direction. Good luck you three.
It is so good to see her smiling with her fun activities in spite of this whole ordeal. We continue to pray that she'll keep improving every day! Hope you are getting some rest too!
