We made our first trip to the Benton County Fair tonight. I told Eila there would be lots of animals there. She told me that she would get to ride on a cat ... Well, we didn't see any cats, but we did get to pet horses.
We saw lots chickens and roosters.
And we also got to pet bunnies.
And, as you'd expect from any respectable county fair, there were rides. Annikka was so happy to learn that she was tall enough to ride all the ones in the kid zone. Her favorite was the dragon roller coaster. Joel was happy to see how excited and brave she was - he says she doesn't get that from him.
Eila, unfortunately, wasn't tall enough to do the kid rides and there were tears. But luckily we found these tractors for her to "ride" on and that made up for it.
