Today was Annikka's last day of Pre-K. She received her official graduation certificate, complete with crown.

One of her favorite things is dress-up, so she wanted her picture taken with her favorite dress from "housekeeping".

All month we have talked about starting kindergarten and she was counting down the days. But today she was very sad when she walked out the door for the last time. She will miss being with all her wonderful friends there and her teachers Ms. Ati (above), Ms. Isil, and Ms. Noriko (below). But we'll be sure to have her visit some mornings when Eila starts going back to daycare again.

Now the adventure of kindergarten starts on Wednesday, and I'm sure this will be a BIG adjustment for all of us. Luckily she has two friends from PSCC at her new school, so hopefully that will help with the transition.
