Easter morning started earlier than Joel or I would have liked, but it was fun seeing the girls with their Easter baskets.
Contrary to what Annikka might tell you, her basket had more than candy in it but apparently the candy made a bigger impact.
This was the first year that we tried doing Easter egg hunts. First, there was one held at our church. Annikka had a lot of fun finding eggs.
And we came home with more than enough candy.
Eila also participated, finding a very cleverly placed egg. :)
And she was given another by Cameron, the boy who was the acolyte the night before at her baptism.
We had another egg hunt at a friend's house that afternoon. Each preschooler was given a picture and clue to lead them to an egg.
Annikka's clue:
Buddha came around to ease the suffering of women and men
And we'd be glad to see him if he came around again
Your treasure is around him, near his big fat tummy
And if you look inside you'll find something that is yummyIt was a busy but fun day.
