We have a 6 year old! Every year it still surprises me that we have this big kid (who just keeps getting bigger) in our family. Annikka is such a sweet sister, excited learner, constant presence, and caring kid. She is a joy in our lives and we will treasure these days (as they are going by so fast).
Eila was very excited to celebrate with Annikka. And everyone enjoyed the cake Grandpa made for her.
Happy birthday our dear Annikka, it's going to be another fun year together.
Annikka's birthday party was last weekend - she chose to have 4 of her best girl friends over for pizza and a movie (our first all girl party). It was a little loud and crazy at our house, but Annikka thought it was the best party ever.
The girls all decorated their own cupcake with an assortment of candies Annikka had chosen.
It got a little quieter when they watched Alice in Wonderland.
