Game Night

We are trying to start a new tradition of family game night on Sundays.  As we sit around the living room,  I'm struck by just how much the girls have grown -- we're playing actual boardgames now!

From Jan/Feb2015

It's a fun way to wrap up the weekend.

This time it's the left

From Jan/Feb2015

Yep, Annikka has another broken arm, but this time it's the left.  She was doing cartwheels around the house yesterday and landed wrong on her ~33rd attempt.  We went to urgent care and she got a sling.  At the follow-up with orthopedics today, she got a splint -- she talked the doctor out of a full cast (she learned it wasn't much fun last time).  She'll go back for more x-rays in 2 weeks, but in the meantime I guess we need to cancel our ski trip...

Finally long enough

After having no hair during her second round of chemo, we all celebrated Eila's first day being able to wear pigtails.

Beaver ball

Tonight's Beaver basketball game honored Gary Payton (probably OSU most famous player), and since we were running a little behind schedule we got luckily enough to run into him outside the arena!

From Jan/Feb2014

The game was really fun as the place was filled with lots of energy.

And we got on tv (at a commercial break)!
