Report cards came home this week, and the girls decided that they would
like a reward for good marks (not that they receive actual grades in
elementary school, it's simply a report of their progress towards
meeting the state standards). So after looking things over, and
explaining what it all meant to them, we venture to the grocery store to
pick out ANY cereal they wanted -- I have specific, although fairly
generous in my opinion, guidelines about the sugar content of their
cereal. Annikka suggested this idea because it was Joel's reward for
good grades when he was younger.
But look at the size of those boxes!! They might last until the end of the year report cards arrive ... unless Joel finds them.
