Tumor 3, week 3

Yesterday Eila started her second cycle of chemo, meaning she was back to getting all 3 chemo drugs again, so we went in knowing we wanted to do something else to help her with nausea.  They added a steroid to the previous nausea medicine, and it seems to be working better.

She ate dinner Tuesday night and didn't get sick.  She felt pretty yucky this morning, but we gave her the 2 nausea meds again (she says the steroid tastes horrible) and a piece of gum.  After an hour she was ready to eat breakfast and talked about having pizza for lunch all morning.  We are so happy that we got her nausea under control better this time, and that should hopefully make for a better week.
