Eila's 5th birthday is at the end of May, but we decided to celebrate early. As anyone with small children knows birthdays are a BIG deal, so with lots of help from a couple of wonderful pre-school moms (thanks Holy & Laura!), Eila had an incredibly fun gymnastics birthday party while she's still feel well. And everyone enjoyed the princess castle cake made by our neighborhood friends, Chris & Kristin.
We were so happy that many of her friends (and her teachers) were able to come on relatively short notice. She had so much fun that afternoon and didn't want it to end. I don't think that Eila really understands why we had her party so
early, but it meant so much to Joel and me to let her simply enjoy turning 5.
We will celebrate again on May 27th, but really can't say thank you enough to everyone who helped make her 5th birthday memorable in only good ways. We love you all and appreciate your help and support!
