It seems we officially started Christmas at our house today ... we bought our tree this morning, decorated the tree in the afternoon, and played around the tree before bed.

As we all know, Annikka is a BIG fan of Christmas, especially the baby Jesus, but Eila's excitement was pretty apparent today too.

Annikka was also very happy to find Mom's "Away in a Manger" set, something that she hadn't remembered from last year.
It's nice that Annikka's Away in a Manger obsession can be highlighted more these days. :) And we found out from one of Joel's partners that he also sings Away in a Manger EVERY NIGHT, to his 8-year-old! So this might not be something she'll grow out of any time soon.

I just LOVE listening to her sing. Can't wait to hear some of it in person very soon. And I can't wait to see beautiful Eila and hear her giggle in person!
