We are so happy to announce the arrival of our second daughter, Eila Kathryn Howe.

Pronunciation: Eila (AY-la)
Her arrival was fast and unforgettable -- we arrived at the hospital only about 20 minutes before she "joined" us (with just 3 or 4 pushes!).

Big sister Annikka has a cold, so she waited to meet Eila until we came home from the hospital on Friday afternoon. She is absolutely thrilled with her "brand new" baby sister.

Oh my gosh, Eila is absolutely darling. Congratulations to all of you and a big welcome to baby. Annikka looks like things couldn't be better - I love it.
